The Armoloq TPA-2730 is a precision-engineered protective mounting frame designed specifically for the Icom IC-2730.
Built for mobile, portable and fixed installations where durability and protection are important, the TPA-2730 provides a robust outer structure around the radio body and control head without restricting access to the controls, connectors or display.
Manufactured from 1/8" 5052 aluminium and finished in a durable matte black powder coat, the two-piece frame mounts directly to the radio using its existing side chassis mounting points, giving a secure installation without requiring modification to the radio.

Serious Protection Without Blocking Access
The TPA-2730 creates a strong aluminium structure around the radio to help protect both the main body and control head against impact, vibration and everyday wear.
Its two-piece construction mounts directly to the IC-2730 using the radio's existing side chassis mounting points, providing a secure fit without requiring permanent modification.
The wrap-around design shields vulnerable edges and surfaces while maintaining access to the radio's controls, connectors and display, making it suitable for vehicle, portable and fixed installations.
Cleaner Antenna Connections
This TPA-2730 kit includes the Armoloq PL-TNC/STRT3 RF Plug-and-Play Package, designed to simplify antenna relocation where access to the rear of the radio may be restricted.
The included lead uses a straight PL-259 to TNC male connection with 1ft of RG58C/U coax. A separate TNC female bulkhead connector provides the relocated connection point, with a TNC male to BNC female adaptor also included.
The supplied relocation mount and hardware allow the external antenna connection to be positioned more conveniently, helping to keep cabling tidy and reducing strain in mobile and field installations.

The supplied M4-0.7 x 10mm screws are the correct length for installation with the TPA frame and should only be used with the frame fitted.

The supplied M4-0.7 x 10mm screws are the correct length for installing the TPA and should only be used with the frame fitted.
Relocation mounts are 1 inch deep and will add approximately 1 to 2 inches to the overall installation depth depending on mounting position.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
