Call 0345 2300 599The Sierra Radio Systems SIR-361 is an antenna relay control module for the Sierra Station Controller range.
The SIR-361 is designed to help integrate external relay-controlled equipment into a Sierra Station Controller installation. It is particularly useful where a station requires remote control of antenna relays, antenna switching hardware, or other relay-driven accessories from the Station Controller dashboard.
The SIR-361 connects to the Sierra DCN, or Device Control Network, allowing relay functions to be controlled as part of a wider station monitoring and automation system. This makes it suitable for remote HF stations, contest stations, repeater sites, and shack automation projects where relay-based switching needs to be brought under central control.

Station Controller System Role
The SIR-361 adds relay control capability to a Sierra Station Controller system.
It is intended for applications where the Station Controller needs to operate external relay-controlled equipment rather than directly switch RF through an onboard coax relay. This makes it useful for controlling existing antenna switching systems, relay boxes, auxiliary station hardware, and other equipment that can be operated through suitable relay control lines.
The module communicates over the Sierra DCN, using RJ45 style connections and network-style patch cables. These DCN connections carry Sierra’s RS-485 based control data and system power between compatible modules.
Although the connectors are RJ45 style, the DCN ports are not standard Ethernet ports and should only be connected to compatible Sierra Station Controller modules and accessories.
Power Requirements
The SIR-361 can be used as part of a Sierra DCN system, where power may be supplied through the DCN connection from a suitable host or powered DCN arrangement.
If the module is being used away from a powered DCN setup, or if the installation requires local module power, a suitable external DC power source may be required.
Compatible Sierra Station Controller Products
The SIR-361 is designed for use within the Sierra Station Controller ecosystem. It is typically used alongside a compatible host such as the SIR-310 Raspberry Pi Host Adapter, and can be expanded with the SIR-356 DCN Data and Power Hub where additional DCN connection points are required.
Important Note
This listing is for the SIR-361 Antenna Relay Control Module only.
SIR-310 host adapter, installation kit, DCN hub, power supply, antenna relay hardware, external switching equipment, control wiring, radios, antennas, coaxial cables, and other accessories are not included unless stated otherwise.
A suitable external power source may be required when the module is not being powered through a Sierra DCN connection from a suitable Station Controller host or powered DCN system.
The Sierra DCN uses RJ45 connectors and network-style cables, but DCN connections are not standard Ethernet connections. Do not connect DCN ports directly to normal Ethernet network equipment.
Please ensure that any external relay-controlled equipment is wired correctly and is suitable for the voltage, current, and switching arrangement being used.
