What is an Armoloq TPA?
Armoloq TPAs are radio-specific protective mounting platforms manufactured from 5052 aluminium and finished in a durable matte black powder coat.
Rather than enclosing the radio completely, the TPA forms a protective structure around it. This helps protect the radio during transport and field use while providing mounting points for useful accessories.

Interfaces, antenna connections, microphone sockets and power systems can be mounted or relocated around the TPA, creating a much more self-contained setup for portable operation.

Add an MBS-1280 Manpack Battery System
For compatible TPA systems, the Armoloq MBS-1280 adds a dedicated battery compartment directly to the radio platform, allowing the radio and its power source to become one compact portable package.
The standard MBS-1280 is designed around the common UB1280 battery footprint and works particularly well with suitable LiFePO4 batteries.
Approximately 151mm long x 65mm deep x 96mm high.
A compatible battery connects through an Anderson Powerpole based power arrangement, giving you a tidy and easily removable power system for field use.
The result is a station that can remain largely assembled between activations. Connect your antenna, microphone or interface and you are ready to operate.

The MBS-1280/F is designed specifically for the Armoloq TPA-FTX1 and TPA-705F.
It provides the same idea of an integrated UB1280-size battery system while using a mounting arrangement designed around these particular portable radios and their TPA frames.

Armoloq RF relocation packages move antenna connections to a more convenient position on the TPA.
This can make a big difference in a portable installation, particularly when the radio's original antenna socket is difficult to reach once the station is packed or mounted.
Selected platforms such as those for the FT-991 and FT-857 can use separate relocation arrangements for HF and VHF/UHF connections.
