The AOR AR-DV3 is a highly capable wideband communications receiver designed for serious monitoring enthusiasts and professional users who need broad coverage, strong mode support, and modern digital voice capability in one compact desktop unit. Covering an impressive 100kHz to 3000MHz, the AR-DV3 is built to handle everything from HF utility listening through to VHF, UHF, and microwave band monitoring, with support for both analogue and digital signals.

Compared with the earlier AR-DV1, the AR-DV3 brings a wider frequency range, an improved RF front end, refined IF stage, and upgraded audio performance. It also adds an audio equaliser for improved listening clarity. Whether you are monitoring amateur radio, marine, airband, PMR, business radio, digital voice networks or general utility traffic, the AR-DV3 offers the flexibility and performance expected from a premium AOR receiver.

Its hybrid architecture combines direct sampling SDR from 0.1 to 18MHz with double conversion superheterodyne operation from 18 to 3000MHz, giving excellent wideband versatility. The receiver supports a huge range of analogue modes including AM, synchronous AM, FM, NFM, WFM, SSB and CW, alongside an extensive list of digital voice formats such as D-Star, C4FM, DMR, NXDN, dPMR, APCO P25 and TETRA.

The front panel and operating system are designed to make advanced monitoring practical day to day. With 2000 regular memory channels, 40 banks, alpha tags, pass channels, SD card support, audio recording, digital mode auto detect, tone search, DSP functions and fast cyber search up to 600 steps per second, the AR-DV3 is ideal for users who need both depth and convenience.
