The REZ Antenna Systems Ranger 80 II, REZ-RNGR80-II, is a high performance base-loaded vertical HF tuning coil designed for portable field operation. It is ideal for POTA, Field Day, emergency communications and temporary HF installations where fast deployment and reliable tuning are essential.
When paired with a suitable telescoping whip extended to at least 2.8m (9.3ft), sold separately, the Ranger 80 II provides coverage from 80m to 6m. The coil is rated for up to 200W SSB and 100W digital at a 50 percent duty cycle, making it a capable portable antenna component for a wide range of field operating setups.
The updated Ranger 80 II features integrated radial ports built into the coil base, allowing up to eight 4mm banana plugs to be connected quickly and securely. This removes the need for a separate radial puck and makes it easier to deploy an effective radial system in the field.
Precision-machined in the USA from CNC-machined Delrin and black anodised 6061 aluminium, the Ranger 80 II is built for demanding outdoor use. Stainless steel hardware and improved weather resistance help keep the coil dependable in real-world portable conditions.
The coil mounts using standard 3/8-24 hardware and is suitable for use with compatible ground spikes, [Z]Pod mounts and other suitable antenna mounting accessories.

Important Note
This item does not include a mount or whip and cannot be used as an antenna on its own. A suitable whip, mount, radial system and tuning setup are required. Antenna performance will depend on the whip used, mounting method, radial arrangement, ground conditions and final tuning.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.
For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.
International Warranty information
Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
