The REZ Antenna Systems [Z]-25SS Telescopic Whip is a high-performance 25ft stainless steel whip designed for serious portable HF operation. Built for demanding field use, it is ideal for POTA, SOTA, Field Day, emergency communications and other deployments where maximum reach, fast setup and reliable performance are important.

When paired with the REZ Scout base, the [Z]-25SS functions as a resonant 1/4-wave vertical from 30m through to 6m. For 40m operation, it can be used with the REZ-SC-4025 Scout XF 40m loading coil or the Recon 40 system. When paired with the Ranger 80 system, the [Z]-25SS can support operation from 80m through to 6m.

With a 1,000W PEP power rating, stainless steel telescopic construction and a standard 3/8-24 threaded base, the [Z]-25SS is a strong and versatile whip for operators building higher-performance portable antenna systems. It is particularly well suited to REZ Scout, Recon 40 and Ranger 80 configurations.

The extended 7.62m (25ft) height also makes the [Z]-25SS suitable for Rybakov-style vertical installations when used with an appropriate 4:1 Unun, such as the REZ XFORM system.

Important Note

Due to the extended length of the [Z]-25SS whip, the mounting tripod must be properly secured during use. When using the REZ [Z]Pod, a minimum of 6.8kg (15lb) of ballast is recommended. In conditions with wind gusts exceeding 12mph, additional weighting may be required to ensure stability and safe operation.

Upon receipt of goods you have 14 days to return goods however the goods must be returned in original packaging and care must have been taken with the goods you wish to return. Under distance selling regulations you are not entitled to any refund on carriage charges or modification charges made at your request. Large items cannot be returned if they have been assembled, unless faulty.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

Outside of the 14 faulty return period, returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty. We will repair as much as possible on site however in exceptional circumstances products may have to be returned to the manufacturer of distributor.

For repairs/replacements under manufacturer’s warranty for any item please download a ML&S return form from the link above and return to ML&S with the faulty product.

International Warranty information

Warranty service for items we sell is available in the U.K. only, unless otherwise noted. It is your responsibility to pay freight for returned items to the U.K. and back to you for desired warranty coverage. All of our NEW products come with a minimum 12 month warranty, (Yaesu & Icom 24 months), with up to 90 days on second-hand equipment. Items returned for service must state "returned goods for repair" on the return air waybill or U.K. import customs duties apply and will be added to your invoice.
