The REZ Antenna Systems Scout XF Mounting Base is the foundation of the REZ Scout Multi Configuration Antenna System. Designed for portable HF operation, it gives operators a rugged and flexible starting point for building a range of field antenna setups using compatible whips, wires, radials and accessories.

CNC-machined from premium 6061 aluminium and finished with a black anodised coating, the Scout XF Mounting Base is built for long-term durability in outdoor environments. Stainless steel hardware and a custom gasket-sealed SO-239 connector help protect the unit from dust, moisture and general field use.

The Scout system is designed around a patent-pending anti-rotation mounting port, helping provide a secure and stable fit when mounted to a portable antenna mast. It also includes integrated 4mm radial ports compatible with standard banana plugs, making it easy to add radials or counterpoise wires as required by your chosen configuration.

This mounting base can be used with your own telescopic whips, antenna wire and accessories, or paired with REZ accessory kits to create different antenna arrangements. Depending on the components used, the Scout system can be configured as a quarter wave vertical, coil-loaded vertical, wire dipole, rigid dipole or delta loop antenna.

Compact, strong and adaptable, the Scout XF Mounting Base is ideal for POTA, SOTA, field days, temporary stations and general portable HF operating where reliability and flexibility matter.
